Brandy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. She is the Owner of Revived and Renewed Mental Health, LLC. She is an alumnus of the University of Louisiana-Lafayette, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with a minor concentration in Criminal Justice, as well as Louisiana State University where she received her Master's in Social Work.
Collectively, Brandy has more than 10 years of experience working with children, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. She has practiced in various areas including Healthcare, Hospice and Palliative Care, Corrections, Addictions and Education as well as Inpatient and Outpatient Psychiatric Care. As a Medical and Hospice Social Worker and a Mental Health Professional, Brandy specializes in areas of grief/loss, depression, suicide, anxiety, end of life and emotional stressors related to physical health issues. Primarily serving adults, Brandy is open to working with all individuals, in efforts to provide equal access to quality mental health services.
Culturally competent and trauma informed, she has the skills and expertise to assist individuals in overcoming personal and life challenges. As a psychotherapist, she utilizes evidence-based and client centered interventions in her practice to assist individuals with improving their psychological and emotional well-being. Brandy's goal is providing clients with a safe and empathetic space to promote personal growth and quality of life. Her vision, as a clinician, is to facilitate positive change in the lives of individuals. Her work is fueled by her passion to reduce the prevalence of suicide in her community, through education, prevention, advocacy and therapy.
